(Had he known she had planned on not coming back he would have been irate.. desperately disappointed that a woman as strong as Haylie would give up on them, on him, so easily. He knew that he had fucked up, he was human, it was his first try at this.. and it had all happened so fast that it hadn't been like he had premeditated it all. When the phone rang, he looked up and trailed Shay as she walked towards the bedroom, stopping as was his habit, just outside the door. To him, Shay and Remy's room was sacred, he just didn't go in there unless it was necessary - like when he had carried Remy in there the day before. He brought his hands up to nurse his building headache and looked over when he heard Remy shifting his weight. He was worried about his friend.. about Shay being along and now he had to worry about Haylie being out there somewhere upset where he couldn't console her.. and he had a feeling she wouldn't see him even if he tried to get to her.. which he would as soon as he had any clue as to where she was.)

She let out a soft breath when she heard Haylie's tear choked voice. Quietly, she asked her what was going on, where she was, how she was doing and then what she was going to do. There were a lot of 'are you sure thats a good idea's thrown in there and a few 'oh honey...' and then the words 'he's pretty upset...' which proceeded a long silence on Shay's part. A low breath escaped her lips when she finally wrapped up the conversation and made Haylie promise to get back in touch with her soon and even after she hung up she didn't come out of the room for a long few minutes. Her hand ran over her face before she went into the bathroom, splashing cold water on her face before she finally came out of the room and looked up at Kyr, for the first time, a trace of sympathy in her gaze.
