(He muttered at the end, his eyes narrowing a bit as he groused, just as she was frustrated about him being injured, he was frustrated that she had to see him hurt like he was, and to have to worry about Shay like she was.) That sounds good.. although I am sure he knows we're gone by now, honestly I am surprised he didn't follow me too. (He leaned his head back on the seat and sighed, willing the vicodin to kick in more so that he could relax.) It seems we're at an impasse then, because I don't want you to worry about me either. (But he did like knowing she worried about him.)

I would imagine as newlyweds, it's hard to be apart though I have no doubt it was quite the decision for him to decide to stay with her."
