(He led her out to the dancefloor and pulled her into his arms, cafeful not to jar her shoulder as she moved close to him and they started to move together. He was feeling a dense mixture of love and heady arousal that was brought on by just the feel and smell of her so close to him. He remembered that she had asked him about leave earlier and after a long moment of silent dancing, he pulled back to gaze at her.) I did get leave, by the way. Ash wasn't pleased about our sudden marraige, but I was able to get a full month of leave. (He smiled, excited about the idea of spending a month discovering her, and how they would live together as husband and wife, working through everything together.)

(He slid his arm around her on the back of her chair, his hand absently moving up and down the bare skin of her arm as he watched Remy and Shay, feeling oddly jealous of the way they spoke to each other as though the world had slid away around them.) Uhm, yeah.. he did - a full month off. (He had no idea what he would do on his own as far as entertainment and companionship went, but he did know he was going to devote himself to the case and take down whoever was after her if ti was the last thing he did - he simply couldn't let this hang over their heads now that they were married.. it wasn't in him to wait for Remy when a madman was on the loose.)
