She looked up at his hand, eyeing it for a second before she slipped her much smaller one into his. She shrugged lightly, letting out a softbreath before she cleared her throat and spoke softly. "I can handle it. I am just glad I got there when I did...Remy would kick my ass if you went and died while I was his replacement partner." She smirked a little, bringing her her eyes up to his at his next phrase. A low breath escaped her lips as she gazed at him, her eyes soft, showing just a bit of the worry and uneasiness that was swelling within her. Her fingers gently, finally curled around his, giving him a little bit more of herself in that touch in that moment. It could easily be pulled back away from him but for now, when he was looking like he wanted her there, to talk to and to touch, there was no way she could refuse him. "Yeah?" She finally questioned in response to his statement about thinking about her, her eyes a little curious.
