(He murmured, taking the plate from her as she set the pills on the table beside him. He took a bite and sighed happily when his body didn't reject the idea of food. His eyes shined a little in the dim light as he raised them to look at her.) I'm glad I could help. (He said honestly, still looking at her for a long moment after he spoke.) I don't like seeing you.. (He realized that he'd started speaking his thoughts, and for a moment he paused before he decided to just let it out.) ...upset and tired. (He felt helpless, and that irked his pride.)

  • She bit her lip lightly, looking over at him for a second before she pushed away the sandwich, suddenly not really seeing the appeal in it. A low breath escaped her lips as she shook her head, her brow furrowed a little as she shifted to rest on the bed, her eyes on him still dark and thoughtful. "I don't like seeing you in pain." She stated softly, honestly, her brow furrowed a little. The view of him in that room was still seared into the back of her eyelids, it seemed, everytime she closed her eyes thats what she saw and so she just couldn't close her eyes for any amount of time.
