Subject: She bit her lip lightly, looking over at him for a second before she pushed away the sandwich, suddenly not really seeing the appeal in it. A low breath escaped her lips as she shook her head, her brow furrowed a little as she shifted to rest on the bed, her eyes on him still dark and thoughtful. "I don't like seeing you in pain." She stated softly, honestly, her brow furrowed a little. The view of him in that room was still seared into the back of her eyelids, it seemed, everytime she closed her eyes thats what she saw and so she just couldn't close her eyes for any amount of time. Her eyes moved over to him again, her hand moving to rest underneath her cheek as she gazed at him.

(He said gently, repeating the words he'd used before.. he honestly would have rather he died than her having had to see him like that. His hand moved to soothe over her cheek, though it was only his palm that touched her since his fingers were wrapped.) The first few times you're involved in a case like that.. it's hard to get over it. (He murmured, remembering the shock he'd felt..
