She had been knocked out by the time she was in the ambulance, her body making her pass out instead of dealing with the pain and as soon as she was in there they were pumping morphine into her. It was a good thing too because the bullet had torn through a deep layer of muscle and lodged into a bone which had to be hollowed out to retrieve it. They had saved the bullet, of course, to hand over to the authorities but had some complications when they were sewing her up. Apperantly the loss of blood and the sheer trauma of the situation had sent her body into shock and her vitals had dropped significantly low. The doctors had gone into a frenzy to get her stable again and she was now being pretty careful watched to make sure she stayed stable and a transfusion wasn't needed. The doctor explained all of that to Remy and Kyr when he came out, tipping his head to the side. "She's a little out of it still, we are keeping her on oxygen for right now also which she doesn't seemed very impressed by but for the moment she is stable and responding well."

He didn't bother to justify his laugh with a look, simply went to the doctor to see what was going on. He paled visibly at the news about her situation and was actually relieved that the news sobered Kyrian a bit.) Can I see her? (He asked after a moment, though the way he asked was more of a demand, and he was a large enough guy to make the demaned imposing. He shifted to the side when Kyrian nudged him and tossed an indignant look at him.. he wouldn't be waiting to see her if she was conscious or not, or whatever! He needed to be by her side through this, it was important to him and he was rarely denied what he wanted in life. Kyrian hooked his hands behind his back and smiled at the doctor, playing good cop to his partner's bad cop.. it was just a typical role the two of them passed back and forth.)
