(He shifted uncomfortably, smiling down at her as if she were his baby sister, knowing he would give his life for her in just the same manner that Remy would. He rarely put himself in that position with people, some of his own sublings didn't get the same affection.. only Remy was as close. He came around the other side of the bed and carefully bent to kiss her cheek.) Get yourself better, I'll get him for you. (He winked, though his smile was slightly nervous. He looked to Remy and they nodded to each other, before he disappeared from the room, lighting up as soon as he was outside again and sighing in relief.) (He watched the two of them interactg with a pleased expression, glad that his partner and his girlfriend seemed to be getting along well. When Kyrian was gone, he brought her hand to his lips and pressed a kiss there, smiling at her.) I'm so proud of you, Shay.. (He said gently, his eyes affectionately gazing at her. Smiling at her remark about the oxygen, he ran his thumb over the back of her hand.) It won't be long until they can take that thing out and you can relax.

She smiled and shifted up to press a warm kiss to his cheek in return, her eyes telling him she understood he was uncomfortable and she appreciated him coming with Remy. She bit her lip lightly as she looked back to Remy when Kyr was gone, a small smirk tipping one corner of her lip up as she gazed at him. "Proud of me for going and getting myself shot?" She questioned lightly, her eyes on him as she rested back in the bed. She was tired, so very tired, after the day they'd had the day before and then getting shot, well she had every right to be exhausted. She was choosing not to focus or dwell on the fact that someone had tried to kill her, instead just thinking about other things...it was easier to not freak out that way.
