Subject: She didn't settle down and looked about ready to argue with him at everything he said until the last part when all the air seemed to rush out of her and gaze turned a little wistful, her eyes moving over his questioningly. "Yeah?" She questioned softly, running her tongue over her lips. She hadn't know if he still felt that for her, if he still cared like that or if he was just searching for a physical release with her. It had been a confusing couple of days and she had spent more of the hours wondering what the hell she was doing with him and if she had made a mistake by jumping back into bed with him so easily. Her eyes dropped down to his hand on her stomach, she enjoyed the warm, heavy weight on her flesh there, it was comforting. Her lip tucked between her teeth as she brought her gaze back to his, quiet now.

That was the way it should be, in his opinion.. he loved being affectionate with her, doing the little things to make her smile and thinking about her all day long. It was amazing to him that people got divorced when he had found such a wonderful thing with Shay.. even when they spatted and fought and argued he still loved her desperately. He stood up again, laying his hands on either side of her shoulders, careful of her injuries. Leaning down, he kissed her lovingly, in response to the wistful expression on her face. He wanted her to know just how much he loved her, that it was more than just sex between them, even if she did blow his mind all the more as an adult than as a teen.
