(He said with a smirk gracing his handsome features. He wished he didn't look so rumpled in his elegant suit, the contrast must be laughable. He kept his voice low in the room, hoping Shay would keep sleeping.) I just got her to relax. (He said with a little suggestion in his voice.)

Any mother who's daughters heart had been broken would hold a little bit of resentment towards the boy who had done it.
