(He swallowed, nodding at her comment about him and Kyrian.) Somebody let that man get in the building, and I plan on investigating it fully. He looked up as Quin came in and sighed, watching his relaxed state go out the window as the imposing head of the McAlister house comandeered his position.) (He pressed a kiss to Kate's temple and squeezed his hand at her side.) Nonetheless, you'll be taking it easy until you're fully healed. (He was dominating at times, even though he really was just a big teddy bear. After a few moments of simply running his hand over her hair to reassure himself that his baby was okay, he turned his eyes to Remy.) You.. hallway. (He said, pointing outside, watching with satisfaction as the younger man wisely got to his feet and walked out of the room, albeit shaking his head a bit. The McLean boy had grown, that was for sure.. but they had to talk.) Be right back. (He said and winked at Kate, he would take care of the boy. He left the room after Remy and the two of them discussed the past, the present and the future as far as Remy and Shay were concerned. Remy tried his best to convince Quin without being rude or giving in, that he was there for Shay and that as long as she would have him he would work at their relationship. He was too old to be running off now, and he knew that. Quin seemed slightly taken aback and shoked by his claims, perhaps even a little bummed out that he wouldn't get to yell at yet another suitor. In the end, both men agreed to respect one another, though he knew Quin would be waiting for him to step out of line.)
