Subject: Preservation Booklet for Fort DeRussy

I've compiled a useful booklet wherein all the net proceeds are going to Fort DeRussy. The pocket sized, hundred page booklet is entitled, "Guards, Pickets, Camps and Marches." Follow this link to the A/C forum about information posted on this booklet.

Frank A has requested that folks brush up on guard mount and picket duties. This booklet is aimed to meet his request. I've packed as much useful information into this small, but readable, booklet as possible. Since this event is about marching, I've included some relevant information on this subject which many people tend to overlook.

One thing I really dislike about Hardee, Casey, Gilham, Scott and others is that they made it difficult to find the information being sought. I spent much time editing the table of contents to make it easy to locate information on the requested subject.

None of the money received by me goes into my pocket. After I pay my printing costs, all other money received from booklet sales goes to the fort. I'm hoping to raise between two and three bucks per booklet for the fort. After the event is over, you still have the booklet. This booklet is a win-win for preservation and knowledge.

Silas
