I never had problems with boots, in fact I did Rich Mountain, LBL 06 and Fort Donelson in my boots and didn't bother me anymore than federal brogans do.

As far as the frock, I always find the fact that it isn't lined in the back makes it a little cooler, I guess I'm partly crazy for that one as well.
