Charlotte, I have no memory of seeing a contour douche syringe in the 1950’s or 60’s catalogs. However, I do seem to remember a picture of one some 15 years or so ago. Whether it would feel any better or seal better than a regular sliding shield seems rather problematic.

I am a little surprised you did not “experiment” with your mother’s large bulb-type douche pipe. Curiosity seems to overtake many young girls when they discover such things. Insertion is not a problem since vaginas are much larger than any douche pipe. The sensation of the shield pressing firmly into you is a real plus for many.

If you are still curious about the large pipes and shields, see Klystra at http://www.klystra.com/general.html. They have the bulbs and adaptors for attaching the large pipes and shields to hoses.
