She is having her wardrobe custom made. She has been working out with a trainer. I even heard she has been flying to meet with Don Baker. I really never thought that she would be one to watch out for. I am competing and I am getting a little worried. What do you all think. Is she a threat? I have never competed in this pageant before. Am I wasting my time and money? I saw her at Mrs. United States and she looked great. I guess I shouldn't let people itimated me. She is always around AK and Millie. I am sure they are helping her. She seems to be really nice though.

AK is just an added bonus! Of course they do come as a package deal. Millie is a fantastic director and both of them are there to help and lend moral support long after you have passed on your crown!Good luck Debbie! Can't wait to see the results of all the hard work you have been doing!

I am just wondering if she is going around bragging or what? I wasn't aware that she had that much money to spend. I mean she used to bring her baby with her to pageants while she competed. Doesn't sound like she even had the resources to pay a babysitter before. She is probably using her FEMA money.

how callous...First off it is none of your business if the woman has money or not. Second off...anyone who saves can compete for this title...or any title..and there are people willing to sponsor women to compete. Seems like someone is scared of the competition. Just because she doesn't dress up all of the time doesn't mean she isn't well off. Not only that, she has a nanny and a expensive car. She probably has more money than any of the other Mrs. Contestants, not that it is any of you all's buisness. Someone started a thread by commenting on her preperation and you all started the bashing. Must be scared, I know I would be if I was in the Mrs. division

She is about the most humble person I know. She is not always dressed up or trying to flaunt her wealth. She is not flying to meet with Don Baker nor has she EVER told anyone she is doing so. The only time I have heard her talk about her dress is to ask someone's opinion on it. This is silly that you all are talking about her finances. I didn't know that was something that mattered in pageants. Not only that, I know that Debbie is not on these boards during the day. She is at work for her company. She is very shorthanded since the storm and is working 12-14 hour shifts (which is the reason she has a nanny). If you women would spend as much time learning to be a little more classy than to speak of someone's finances all of the bashers might have a little more self respect.

She is not contracted to make a bunch of apperances, she can if she wants to keep her corwn, but she does not HAVE to. She is a very nice person, will go out of her way to help anyone AND has a great shot this year. She has been working hard and she looks really great. I can not wait to see the dress, it is going to be SUPER!

Mrs. A Bayou Christmas is not a contracted title. It is only if you want the crown. The only person who was at Denham Springs that would even know her is Jean. So what is you problem with her Jean? You don't even compete in Mrs. Louisiana America. Or else this is Rebecca?

i met Debbie Twice , last year When She competed for America And the at the pageant for Mrs Denham Springs. She is A beautiful women and a sweet heart. I wish her the very best on the 27th.As Well As all of the other contestants. and why would Rebecca bash her own queen? As i'm sure you all know by now Rebecca Isn't competeing this year. speaking to teenage girls about self-esteem. And I guess you were there when she was at her CASA training during the new pageant. And I guess you were there when she was purchasing bags and toys for foster children. Or how about when she mentors a child who's parent is in jail. And how about when she spends her own money to buy teddy bears to give to police officers, EMTs, and firemen to give to children when they are called out to an unfortunate event. And I am sure that she probably looked like shit all of those times also. But I guess it would have been better if she were a visiting queen.

I think these things are more important than seeing the same people each weekend at every pageant that comes along, but that still doesn't change the fact that she should put forth at least the slightest effort to do at least one thing that was on her agreement with the festival
