Subject: zappa plays zappa

i got to catch the zappa plays zappa show in la la land.
too amazing for words. to see franks music played by an all star group of musicians was too good for words. steve vai has a little bit more respect in my book. terry bozio was hurt so he didnt play....as much. franks daughter diva did some dancing on stage....girls with pink hair rock on any planet.
dweezil did a good job of keeping it all together in the same manner his dad would. the crowd loved every moment too. the house lights kept coming up and the crowd would go crazy. seeing these things live reminds me of why i love playing music. it's inspiring on billions of levels.
zappa plays zappa wraps up but there was talk of the event being a yearly thing, which would be great. it would give musicians a chance to try out for it like they would back in the day. terry bozio set the bar pretty high, let's see if i can jump.
