Subject: My pet peeves

Photo contest entries are at an all time low and I'm starting to understand why.

I have tried contacting 3 different contests (that had current banners posted) with questions I had that were not answered on their site.

NO ONE REPLIED!!!
Why do you have a contest and not answer emails for days?
So I emailed again and no replies again!

I entered 2 other contests without contacting the director first. Sent the paypal and photos. Then had questions and NO REPLY. Never saw contestants posted for either of them. Never got a reply to my emails when/where contestants would be posted. Found a winners banner eventually for one of the contests that only had a supreme on it, not minis or the other titles the site said they would also award.

What's happening? Why are these contests being run so half-heartedly? If you aren't going to give it 110% then close up shop. YOU ARE GIVING THE GOOD DIRECTORS A BAD NAME BY ASSOCIATION AND ITS HURTING EVERYONE.

I won't post here who the offending contest owners are, but you can bet I've told all of my friends who will never enter either.
