If M.L. Shaw's restaurant was really vandalized by somebody who put up this message without first getting permission, then the people from the restaurant should've immediately filed a Police report. The chances are fairly good that this person(s) might try to vandalize someone else's property the same way.

Perhaps that Police report could've helped establish a pattern on the guilty culprit, and helped secure a conviction if the individual(s) were to appear in court. If we don't have any confidence in our police department, maybe it's time we make some changes amongst the people down there. At least give them something to work with.

I tend to agree here with Horizontal Harry. I mean, I can understand how sometimes people don't notice things in their regular environment. But when a guy comes in to have breakfast with his daughter, and then runs home and complains about it on this forum, it's hard to believe that nobody from the restaurant staff caught this message, which sort of stands out like sore thumb. I just think we should give the Police ample opportunity to keep the law and order around town.
