and watch the speedway on Passaconway. Especially when you are standing with your kids at the bus stop! It isn't just Marsh Hill Rd., but everywhere in Dracut now. Or, watch Bouchard Ave, when everyone is having fun going up and down the hill!

We have built up Dracut so much, there is 3 times the traffic now, and you can't blame the police for it. They would have to station themselves on every corner on every street in Dracut. Maybe they would allow us all to take down license plate numbers and report the drivers? I have done that. Hell, one kid actually seemed like he was TRYING to mow down my 9 year old as she walked up from the bus! I called right away! The sent an officer immediately, and went right to his house!

I spent my teen years on Lincoln Lane, so I know how bad Marsh Hill is. I will admit, I was one of the teenagers that had a ball driving that road at higher speeds than normal. However, back then, all there was were a many cows, race horses and open fields. There were houses spread apart. Not that it is an excuse..I was a kid, and being cocky. But, I can tell you, there were officers hiding in two places. One was a place called the "HAY". We called it that, because it was where they dropped off the hay to Arthur's farm, and it is a little road, right after Lincoln Lane, which was the Avco testing plant at one time. The other hiding place, where you were really picking up speed, was the pond down the middle on the right of Marsh Hill. They could hide their cars really well there, and caught you long before you could slow down.

Maybe the same can be done there. They are really good "catching points".

Anyway, Passaconway, Bouchard Ave, Cross Rd., Hildreth Street..they are all now raceways, and I don't know how much the police can do to stop it, except to add more to their force.

Thanks for listening,
Kelly
