It bothered me as I watched the kid zooming around the parking lot with the full-sized American Flag on the hood of his sports car. Just doesn't feel right to me. I grew up with a flag in our yard, because my Grandfather served in the Navy and displayed it proudly from a flag pole. We took it down every night until one day the pullies wouldn't work, then he put the spotlight on it so it was lit up at night. When it was worn, even a little, he brought it down to have it disposed of honorably.

I knew a little bit, but not all of it so thanks for the info.
