Very good Nimby-san. Finally I chuckle at a response instead of fume. I agree that the MCAS tests should probably be altered in some way, but we are still in the early stages of this and I'm sure there will be changes over the years to come. I do, however, whole-heartedly agree with the concept and would hate to see them disappear entirelybased on the arguments I've heard against them so far.

But, I have to disagree with you about opportunity. We all have opportunity. That's what this great country is all about. Some have to work harder than others to succeed but we all have the opportunity to make the most of our lives. Some make the wrong decisions and then complain about how life is unfair to them. I think we all have to take some responsibilities for the decisions we've made and stop trying to blame others or look for a free ride. I'm not judging those people, just pointing out the irony and absurdity of it all. My humble example of opportunity.....growing up in Lowell, I knew a lot of people who went to Lowell High. Some of them did what they had to just to get by, while others graduated with a very solid education. All of them had the same opportunity when they started, some just made more of it because they put more into it.

And, yes, I'm not making friends out here. Funny thing is, I'm not having any trouble sleeping at night. I'm not here to make friends or enemies. I'm hear to call it like I see it and I guess that offends some people in this day of walking on egg shells so as to not upset the PC crowd. By the way, I certainly hope you don't offend anyone in the asian community with your responses. They could be construed as racist. Better be careful.

PS: Nimby-san always welcome to try and kick Fuji-san's butt all over Dojo, but Fuji-san prefer more civilized way of discussion over cigars and drinks. After all, and contrary to some people's opinions, Fuji-san is no Neanderthal.
