Was I just given a shot? Intelligent? Substantive? I think that was a shot. Nevertheless, continuing my pursuit of knowledge, I went to a couple of those sites Mary was kind enough to provide. I still don�t get it.

Lot�s of egg-head mumbo jumbo about indigenous peoples, bio-diversity, cultural preservation. Filtered down to its essence, Big Business BAD, Local business GOOD.

They encourage a reliance on �local economies� which is great but there are no cattle ranches in Dracut so I guess we won�t be eating meat anymore. They rail against adapting the land for �monolithic food production.� I don�t know. We�ve been doing that for years. Crop rotation, plowing, irrigation? How the hell else are we going to grow our food or export it to other nations who have no suitable land for agriculture. But, if it�s part of an indigenous culture to be starving all the time, should we even be exporting food to them? Would Ethiopia retain it�s cultural heritage if we eliminated all those distended stomachs and gaunt frames?

I hear you all snoring.. WAKE UP!!

And we advocate all this by destroying property, throwing rocks at cops, setting fires? Then run like hell wearing our Nike sneakers which were made in some Korean sweatshop. Isn�t there something better for these punks and Euro trash to protest?
