I missed the CPA debate but will watch for a rerun to see how it worked.

But relative to the Power Plant, I believe you must construct a fair debate - and by fair I mean a balanced number of well informed people who bring different perspectives as well as different opinions.

The supporters and opposers are very passionate about their positions - but the undecided may truly be the majority at this point (undecided often because they have not had the opportunity to learn the specifics about this power plant).

So as a public service to the people of Dracut, I urge you to focus on putting the best talent forward - those with the knowledge to educate and argue their OPPOSING positions.
The most important part of this effort will be identifying the debaters.

Good to see you are considering folks from out of town (Ed Valis) because I will also want to propose a local, articulate person who is not from Dracut, but who has spent tremendous time in power plant arenas and more time on this than anyone I know. (and that says a lot because I am sure the Selectmen put in an enormous amount of time).

Will you keep us informed of the schedule and decision dates so that we can participate in the process, particularly in identifying candidates?

Thank you in advance. It is great that you are doing this.

Celeste
