Let's see. Here are a few tips:

1. Talk to the neighbors. I know human interaction is tough sometimes, but, if you plan to move to a neighborhood you will have to "deal" with these people anyway.
2. Call/visit town hall and ask questions of the town officials about past and future projects in the area of the neighborhood
3. While visiting Town Hall request a copy of the zoning map of the area of the neighborhood. A picture is worth a thousand words!
4. Drive around the area. If I am not mistaken, a quick drive around this area will more than let you know that there is something going on besides open pasture and yuppie houses! I think the line of trucks and and all the equipment near Brox that would tip me off!

Due diligence are not just fancy words, it is your responsibility!
