Thank you "Frustrated"! It's nice to know someone else would prefer the sounds of the birds rather than the rev of the engines.

And in response to "Concerned":

Thanks for the suggestion. Let's see if I understand what you're saying. If I decided to take up a new hobby---say skeet shooting, for example---rather then be responsible and research where I can practice my new hobby, it's OK for me to practice shooting from my back yard without regard for my neighbors, because it's up to the neighbors to suggest alternate places for me to shoot. Perhaps you should re-think your suggestion.

As evidenced by Kathleen Deely's article in last Sunday's Lowell Sun "Dracut Police Will Take to Two Wheels to Crack Down on Forest Joyriders," ATV and dirt-bike riding IS of great concern to Dracut residents. I applaud the Dracut Police Department on their campaign and will do everything I can to assist them in protecting our public lands, preventing illegal use of private lands, and keeping our neighborhoods quiet.

I urge all respectful and responsible Dracut residents to do the same.
