Sweet Caroline:

Scroll down on this forum to "Town Elections" by Buffy, which was posted on Wednesday, May 9th (2 days after the Election). After you read that, scroll up to "Waffler" by Preston, which was posted on Friday, May 11th (4 days after the Election).

Now if those aren't two clear-cut examples of kicking a guy when he's down, Caroline, then I must be the Queen of England. Alan Thivierge was a complete gentleman throughout his campaign, and did absolutely nothing to warrant these type of cheap shots AFTER the election by Preston and Buffy.

It really doesn't matter who you supported in this past selectmen's race, that sort of back-stabbing politics is simply unethical and immoral. You betcha I'm gonna make my feelings known when something like that takes place.

As I mentioned in my third and final posting under the heading of, "Waffler", May 7, 2001 is now ancient history. Whatever happened that day, happened. Let Alan Thivierge, as well as anyone else who lost an election, grieve their campaign loss in peace. Let them go back to the drawing board and figure out what they did wrong, and they need to do better the next time around.

My middle name is NOT Yahoo, Caroline, but I really think your pointing the blame at the wrong person in this particular case.

Herman Munster
