I'm not sure about Karen, but I am a new resident, and am just trying to get some answers. I'm not "wrapped up in my own axles", I'm simply trying to have a discussion and get someone to answer my questions.

You seem a bit defensive about this issue, and I'm sure that you've been through all of this before. But for the benefit of the newly arrived to Dracut, I wish that you'd please deal with the matters at hand in a less defensive way. Rather than accusing people of insulting you, and focusing on people's emotions regarding this issue, it would be great if you could present some facts, for example, the environmental standards that are being used. I would be happy to read a transcript of the hearings you refer to. Where can I find a copy?

It would be great to communicate back and forth, and have you allay our concerns, but my concerns are not allayed so far. I'm sorry that you still have to deal with this, and I'm sure that you would rather just have the matter be dropped, but apparently people are still very afraid of the consequences of this plant, and no amount of scolding will alleviate the concerns being voiced here.
