[> Subject: Actually it's tomorrow Mary! Back in 1977. In 1980 they made another mural and then I don't know how long that one was up, but I think there should still be one to this day in Bay City, coz it was the Rollers who put that city on the map.

Though I could've missed it - I had no idea it was ever "re-done". Interesting piece of trivia, Faith...thanks! True, they put BAY CITY on the map - still, I want to spread the rumor that the pin *really* landed in BATTLE CREEK and Derek just got his 'B.C.'s' confused!

Thanx Mary! I love trivial stuff like this. I know that the town of Bay City was known back then for it's murals, but I don't know how long this second one was up. I think you will have quite a hard time convincing everyone that the b.c. is for battle creek, but you are famous for kellogg's cereal, so that is something to be proud of. Everytime we eat some corn flakes or rice krispies, let's think of Mary and Battle Creek everyone. lol!
