I was in Bay City in '96 (oh my, was the 'first' rollerfest *really* 10 years ago?? Thanx Becky & Cathy!!) Anyway, I don't believe there was a mural then. Though I could've missed it - I had no idea it was ever "re-done". Interesting piece of trivia, Faith...thanks! Thanx Mary! I love trivial stuff like this. I know that the town of Bay City was known back then for it's murals, but I don't know how long this second one was up. I think you will have quite a hard time convincing everyone that the b.c. is for battle creek, but you are famous for kellogg's cereal, so that is something to be proud of. Everytime we eat some corn flakes or rice krispies, let's think of Mary and Battle Creek everyone. lol!
