I don't blame her, and she's choosing now to hang out with people that love her for who she is not what her weight is. Even if she has gained 40 pounds, it's her life and she loves herself enough to not care about the negative things you people have to say about her. It's impossible to maintain that as figure. Many, intact most gain weight. Look at Tori. She has gained close to 60-70 pounds from her competing days. Her pageant days are over. I don't think Mandy is done competing. I can't see her stepping out of the spotlight. I give it a year and we will see her on the wa USA stage. Cassie's face is beautiful! With a round face like hers it just shows when you put on even 15 pounds. She was not looking good when she have up her crown but looks better than ever now. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

But Mandy even admits that she was taking a break from living a pageant lifestyle and she obviously doesn't feel good about being that heavy because she keeps hiding herself with pictures from the past...if she was open with her weight gain and showed authentic pictures it would be more respectable. The poor girl hasn't gained that much, she just isn't in the shape she was when she was preparing for Miss America. What happened was her face rounded out, which, coupled with the fact that she's always wearing baggy clothes (like in the picture of all the titleholders after Miss WA USA), makes her look larger than she is. So basically, give her a break. Everyone is different. I don't weigh what I did when I was in pageantry - I actually did get fat (not for lack of trying, but life changes, you know? Haha!). She said something about working a dream job of traveling and making lots of money...yet never said what the job is. That's really confusing... She also posted something about a law school interview...but law schools don't have formal invitational interviews... So it's all really weird and fake sounding. Also with her weight gain.. She always talked about how she just was a healthy person, living a healthy life but then all of a sudden she blows up after miss America, that sounds like someone who just got in shape for miss A, not someone who just lives healthy.
