 She placed at Miss Pierce County I believe. I notice that's a trend with at least one titleholder in the sweeper for the last couple years. Tamara, Kalina, and now Isabell did not place when they competed in the open, but won in the sweeper!

Remember also that they have a completely separate panel of judges for open and for sweeper as well as separate interviews.
