 Who is eligible to compete? Did you have to be a contestant already this season? How many crowns will be given?

You must have been
1. A previous "Miss" titleholder and are still eligible
Or
2. Were a runner up (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) at a local pageant THIS year. Previous years do not count.

They have given away anywhere between 1-5 titles. However I believe they will probably do 4, like last year.
It all depends on how many girls compete. You may give away 1 title for every 4 girls competing. However, you may only give away a maximum of 3 for each pageant. That is why last year they split the girls into 2 groups and had 2 separate judging panels.

Correction -
The requirements are "all former title holders who remain eligible, as well as all contestants who were officially named as runner-ups at one or more local pageants in the current (2014) pageant year or the immediate past (2013) pageant year (assuming they are still eligible by age and other rules)."

So far they have 3 titles posted, if enough girls run, they will likely add a fourth and split the contestants into two pageants.
