In order to run at another pageant, you have give up any right as a runner up from any previous pageants thar year. This is most commonly used for the Sweeper pageant.

So, not only was a new Miss Tri-cities crowned this summer, but a new teen recently as well. There was an article in Seventeen magazine about the title being removed from winner Sarah Carlson for being 11 days too old. What a shame they didn't realize sooner.
