Subject: Brazilian Election

Dear Editor,

I believe that the former president and a running contender for presidency in 2006,Luiz Inacio da Silva, should win the elections due to his hardwork in bringing up the poor and giving them the chance to live a normal life. Other accomplishments that should be aknowledge about is his increase involvment on social programs and his political ways that helped pay off billions ($) in debt. Evermore,he has giving the crumbiling economy of Brazil, a
platform to increase stability and independence that once was not there during the military rule and other former presideceny years.
But this should not make the win for Lula a blind giveaway. Voters should also think through all the scandels he has done over his last term in office. Even though these scandels have taking place, he has given more things back to the people, economy, and country of Brazil in a good way rather then bad. The matter of fact is, Lula is a good man in heart but with a corruptive ambition for power. And if Lula does win, it is the peoples' responsibility to make sure his past and possibly wrongs are corrected so that the Brazil can move on in a more brighter future.
