I would have to agree with you Vanessa; the people do not deserve a President who is corrupt. Myself, I don't know enough about either candidate to know which one is better for the people. From what you are saying though, President da Silva has done all the good he can (even though it may have been superficial). But a question that I think needs to be raised is if Mr. Alckmin will be able to lead (and be loved by) the people, especially the poor people, as da Silva was.

I think your letter was very informative and gave me a better perspective on what is going on in Brazilian politics.
