Subject: Brazilian Elections

Dear Editor,

I think it is great that someone from the worker's party is running Brazil. Real workers are the ones who need to be running countries, people who know how operations work and how to deal with them. Too many countries have leaders that have never even had experience in any of the things they are dealing with. If only more people could realize that.

As for the shoe situation, not everything can be perfect. Although the shoe industry may need to be payed a bit more attention to and maybe some helpful policies enforced, the country is flourishing. I do feel for the shoe industry, but they must realize to be grateful for the countries advancement. It is better to have a growing and advancing economy and a bad shoe industry than to have a good shoe industry and a bad economy in everything else.

I think it is such an advancement to have finally elected a leftist leader. Every step is a step towards betterment. I believe Brazil's future is looking up and it will only continue to get better as time goes on. The Brazilian people must keep their faith and keep voicing their opinions by voting and electing leaders who will continue to improve the country's conditions. All in all, Brazil needs a leader like Lula to keep the economy in good shape and keep looking out for the worker's of the country, because in reality they represent the heart of the country.

Sincerely,
Ashley Boik
