Subject: Brazilian Elections

Dear Editor,

I beleive that the former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, will win the next elections (OCT 2006). He has done many things to help the most vulnerable and unstable part of Brazil, (Brazilian Slums). He has given hope to the poor people to try to make their life better. He has also passed laws-that are now enforced- such as, the Disarmament Law which, regulates and reduces the amount of firearms privite people have (public).

But he, as many other political figures, has a second side to the coin. A dark one with scattered promises, and corruptive bribing. The media has uncovered, that Lula has bought through bribary, incrementating details about his opponents in the elections. This, in all disgrace, seems to be a fact in many-if not all- politcal involments/parties. Why then would someone vote for a man with, good in his heart, but evil in his intentions? In conclusion, can the people trust Lula for all the good he has done, or will they put their fate into someone eles's hand? I hope, after the dust has cleared from the war grounds that the people of Brazil can move foward to a better, brighter future.
