This was the news piece I sent the Washington Post this letter about:

Dear Monte Reel,

Though your article was insightful, there are a few things I'd like to point out, namely:

- Lula lost support of many people by picking the wrong allies to be with (PRB, or Brazilian Republican Party, a party ran by fundamentalists here, is the party of his vice-president), though he did get some support from these allies;

- Heloķsa Helena, the candidate to the left of Lula, played a role in taking some votes away from him (including mine own, since I, an occultist, can't in good consciousness vote for a fundamentalist Christian as a vice-president);

- The media has been all against Lula. This would be good, since presidents need to be the target of oversight, except for the fact that they want to benefit Alckmin at all costs.

- The judiciary is working - balantly - against Lula, having foregone any and all presumption of neutrality. There is an interest by the electoral court here in unseating Lula.

Aside from that, it's a very good news piece, and would be better if it mentioned other candidates and factors.

Thank you,

Joćo Lucas
