Question: I kind of think that i am ready to have sex. The only problem is that I am really scared of getting pregnant. I know that if he uses a condom there is almost no way Ican get pregnant, but I am still scared. What care can I take to not get pregnant? How do i tell my boyfriend that I at least want him to see me naked and I want to see him naked? female, age 14 Brazil

Dear girl,

I really think you should give it a little more of consideration. You sound very sincere to me when you talk about your curiosity, but It is the situation itself that is a problem. You never know what can come out of it and in case sex takes place, I’m sorry to tell ya but in my opinion you guys are just too young for that. Sex is much more than just intercourse with somebody you think you love. At your age it’s more than natural to get attached to someone and talk of love. But what you need to know is that laying down with somebody involves a lot of your emotions too. Have you ever thought about how you’ll feel afterwards? You’d better, cuz many people can’t handle it right after leaving bed. Though it is natural to be curious at your age, I think you’d better wait till you are more emotionally prepared to face the consequences of sex.
