I completely agree with you. Having sex for the first time is a very emotionally demanding experience, which you can't really handle at only 14. Your mind and body are going through a lot of changes at this age anyway, and adding sex is an additional stress that you don't need to deal with yet. It's very normal to want to be intimate with the person you're with, but there are many other ways to connect besides sex. You have all the time in the world to experience this wonderful act, and when you will, make sure that when you look back, you only have great memories and nothing to regret or feel ashamed of.
