Do you really think it is oversensitive to acknowledge that not everyone is a Christian? I know that if I were Jewish or Hindu or Buddhist, I would get awfully tired of hearing a greeting that assumes that Christians are the only people who celebrate a winter solstice holiday. Especially since the Catholic Church intentionally chose that date to celebrate Christmas because it DID coincide with other major solstice holidays. Aside from the creche scenes, nearly every other major symbol of Christmas is a holdover from other cultures, which are then excluded because "they are too sensitive." Yeesh!
