Here are the specifics you wanted about AMRC.
Our friends rented "Leapin Lizard" for one week.
Upon check-in time, they discover the house has not been cleaned from the previous renters.
They were told to come back in 3 hours, making that around 7:30. Day one of expensive Island Trip.....wasted.

The cleaning service didn't matter much because the house was filthy and very well worn and nothing like the pictures on AMRC's website.

During the week the pool had constant cleaning/filtering issues and was not usable during the majority of their stay. Not to mention the rabid raccoons that hung out around the pool defacating, during the day.

The washer was broken upon their arrival and since they had flown, they had brought minimal clothes for their 3 kids, knowing that the home SHOULD be equipped with with a working laundry.

They asked for beach towels, considering by mid-week the towels they brought from home were filthy,from lack of a working washing machine, and were told that they couldn't have any.

AMRC did nothing and I mean NOTHING for them. Our friends asked to be moved, this was in the middle of slow off season. Many of the properties that AMRC could have moved them too remained empty that week. All the problems were blamed on the owner of the property and our friends were not compensated in any way.

They spent $2,500.00 base rate plus taxes and fees for a week in this place, not to mention airfare ($1,500.00) and car rental($450.00). Not to mention the tourist dollars they spent eating out every night for 5 people and shopping on the Islands.

So guess what, your friends at AMRC ruined their vacation. All they wanted was what they paid for. A clean home with working laundry and a clean swimmable pool. They didn't get that.
