The Italian place is probably Matzaluna; good pizza and other Italian food for reasonable (by Sanibel standards) prices. Doc Fords is also reasonably priced, as is Lazy Flamingo (both good). I find that going to lunch instead of dinner is cheaper and we eat leftovers in the condo in the evenings. Traders also has a good and reasonably priced menu. As for bday cake; I would never do such a thing on Sanibel... not with so many key lime pies to choose from!
