Gyro likes to feel good all the time, so his touch causes excitement. Taryn had a lot of heart but never had a way to truly be 'heard'...so his extra is a form of telepathy. Michael has a very jealous nature, so he gained the ability of possession. Dylan was so painfully shy that he wanted to be invisible, so now he can be. Every character has their own story behind being able to do the things that they can do. And one of the deepest bonds you can share with a vampire...is to teach someone else how to use your ability.
This week's question is...looking back on your life, your experiences, your quirks, and your attributes...what do you think your extra would be? If you were born into darkness tomorrow...what abilities would appear in you over time?
We've asked this question once before a long long time ago, but really think about it and fine tune the concept. Tell us what your extra would be and why. What parts of you do you feel would be represented the strongest in your rebirth.
For more aggressive personalities, extras usually become offensive weapons. (Brain geysers, fire, acid webs, concussive blasts)
For more submissive personalities, they're more defensive or evasive abilities. (Super speed, invisibility, pain transferal, focus deflection)
And for more introspective and quiet personalities, extras usually end up being more cerebral. (Memory, telepathy, empath, mind reading, prophecy)
There are infinite combinations and possibilities, no two are exactly alike. Which one fits you?
And remember...the extras never lie. They are a reflection of the soul. So be honest.
