Subject: Dark Question For 2/24

Imagine that you're a vampire on the streets...at whatever age that you desired to crossover...and you are looking to live through the rest of eternity in comfort. A good life. One that will change as the years change, hopefully.

Now, I know you see a lot of movies where vampires are all elegantly dressed, sophisticated, and living in beautiful mansions on the dark side of town. Whther they're elder vampires from old royalty, or the more hip modern vampires with leather jackets and sports cars.

In the "GFD" universe, however...life isn't quite that simple. Those vampires have to either live in abandoned buildings and parking lots, old churches, subways, and basements....or they have to find a way to MAKE their money. And since a 'day job' is out of the question, there are certain professions that a vampire can get into in order to make a nice living, and have the luxuries that they so desire.

*IF* you were a vampire...and didn't like the idea of crawling into an old car at night to sleep...which "GFD" proffession do you think would suit you best?

You could be a blood dealer if you wanted to. A 'Spice' dealer if you wanted even more money and didn't mind the added risk. There are club owners, casino workers....maybe you'd want to try your luck in one of the professional underground fighting rings? You could be a hemoslug farmer...but if you get caught...sucks to be you. You could crossover humans for money, and be a 'Noc Dealer'...or you could study and help vampires purify they blood by becoming a blood smith. Or...if you're looking for more of a bad boy image, you could always be a Raider, and STEAL what you want. Or you could work for the vampire mob. Some sanctuaries charge a lot of money for a vampire to stay there...if you work up the money to get a secue location, the rent could be set as high as you want. They ARE hiding out, after all. And hey...there's always prostitution. You know how much vampire virgins go for on the open market?

What do you think? What would you do? Any one of the above? Or maybe you've thought about something new altogether? Each job has it's own advantages and risks. Some of the advantages can be VERY rewarding! And some of the risks can be LETHAL! DON'T get caught doing something you're not supposed to! If you're doing something crooked...you'd better be damn good at it!

Speak, vampires! What will it be? And if you don't want the luxury of the high class vampire life...then crawl back into your cold sewer...and sleep there until the next sunset. >:)
