Just picked it up on blu ray this week. Yeah, the boys are cute...even cuter towards the end of the movie. But I was expecting more. I think it was the 'jumpy' editing that made it kinda suck. There are twelve books though, so I hope they continue to produce the rest. But with the relatively low revenue from the first, I kinda doubt it. Personally, yeah, I liked the movie overall. But I think the director missed his mark. I think he was going for dark yet humorous. But it came off as corny. In the right hands; I'd put it up there with the Harry Potter series. Sadly, it didn't land in the right hands. Most of the funnier scenes weren't even in the movie...though somehow they were in the trailer. But you can find them in the deleted scenes.

SPOILER ALERT! Read no further unless you just can't help yourself.

I found it funny that the main character, Darren, was reluctant to drink human blood...much like our beloved Justin. But Darren got over it pretty quickly. And for the love of a monkey-girl! LMAO! It seems to me, just from watching his mannerisms on screen that the lead character simply must be gay in real life. Or I could be dead wrong on that one. Anyone else wanna weigh in on that one? (No, I haven't googled it yet to find out for sure...if such info is even available.)
