Subject: The class is in its 3rd season, and we have not had a full feild of cars (16 or more) since the first season......opening the rules would be an effort to gain a larger car count......a more diverse group of cars and lower average et's will yeild larger car counts and more spectators as well as MORE MONEY FOR THE PARTICIPANTS AT THE PAY WINDOW. ...we have had 2 races this year....one we had 7 cars....the other I think we had 11......WE NEED MORE CARS.....and if it takes opening up the rules and upping the pay to get them there then SO BE IT. Subject Author Date LIKE YOU SAID, YOU HAVE NOT HAD A FULL FIELD OF CARS SINCE THE FIRST YEAR. PEOPLE WERE GEARED UP FOR AN EVEN PLAYING FIELD AND FOUND OUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. IF YOU LEVEL OUT THE PLAYING FIELD YOU WILL HAVE MORE CARS COME OUT, AND THAT BRINGS MORE SPECTATORS, AND MORE FOR EVERYONE ALL THE WAY AROUND. BUT, IF YOU CONTINUE TO OPENUP THE CLASS I FEEL THAT YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CAR COUNT. THE LITTLE GUY WILL GET TIRED OF NOT BEING ABLE TO COMPETE WITH OUT BREAKING THE BANK TO GO RACING. MAYBE SOME OF YOU CAN AFFORD TO DO IT ALL, BUT NOT EVERYONE CAN. SO CONSIDER IF YOU WILL PLEASE ASKING SOME OF THE REGULARS THAT ARE AT REDLINE AND ANY OTHER TRACKS WHAT THEY WANT IN A CLASS.
