(NT) Run watcha brung on nines!!!! 20:31:26 06/05/08 Thu The class is in its 3rd season, and we have not had a full feild of cars (16 or more) since the first season......opening the rules would be an effort to gain a larger car count......a more diverse group of cars and lower average et's will yeild larger car counts and more spectators as well as MORE MONEY FOR THE PARTICIPANTS AT THE PAY WINDOW. ...we have had 2 races this year....one we had 7 cars....the other I think we had 11......WE NEED MORE CARS.....and if it takes opening up the rules and upping the pay to get them there then SO BE IT. How can you possibly expect the 9 inch madness to be "loyal" to the little guys when the little guys are either unwilling or unable to afford to participate??? In order for this to work every car is gonna have to be weighed after every race. Every hood is to be popped and checked not only for 2nd kit but for degree heads after market block all that shit. I see them asking for the rules to be followed and the cars weighed and checked. The people that want to see the rules changed are the ones that have not had a car run in this class this year or, are running illegal. I think that pretty much speaks for itself. If you change the rules you will have a DFW Outlaw on your hands. A big field of cars for a week or two and then the same old bullshit they are dealing with now. The only way to build this class that was designed for the little guy is to keep the rules as they are and ENFORCE THE HELL OUT OF THEM!!!!!!!!! If you do this, you will see this class grow. It's just a small advantage but still illegal according to the rules. Can't say I blame them. We have always been straight up honest people in life and we carry that to the track in our racing too! There's also chatter of one particular car bending the rules but, I'm not going to pretend I know if it's true or not, or illegal or not. All I can say to all the other guys is to do the same thing if they are being told it's legal. You know the old saying, "IF YOU CAN'T BEAT EM, THEN JOIN EM".
