(Conneaut, Pierpont, Kingsville) At one time, many many years ago there were various schools located within our district at neighborhood crossings. Unfortunately as the community numbers began to go down, the local districts decided to close local buildings and consolidate-- bringing the kids up to their other district buildings. Because of the way the consolidation lines ran, the students ended up being sent to different school systems. This is really frustrating at times-- someone might live across the street from a Buckeye Student but be assigned to Conneaut because of the lines of demarcation. You're right that it doesn't make a lot of sense-- although what in today's educational system does? [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
