When things settle down...check into that 0-3 program I had talked about for Billy, that is if he still hasn't made any progress with speech. I'm so sorry to hear about Shane. A 11 years is a long time for a dog, he was really 77 years old. He lived a good long life. Think of it this way...he's not suffering anymore, and you don't know how long he's had that problem. You were in a middle of a big, out of state, move and with a toddler...that right there is alot and stressful. Your mind is moving at about a million miles per second so it's easy to not be focused on things, and with animals when they are sick....they go down hill FAST. Hine sight is 20/20. Down the road, in the future, if you ever get another pet...also check out pet insurance. I have pet insurance through VPI pet insurance and I've had them for 6 years now and they do help pay for many different services. Well worth it. Take care of yourself and Billy.
